The True Cross Catholic School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Crusader Parents, is a parent group under the direction and supervision of the school principal that provides parents and educators a vehicle to foster collaboration in educational and social endeavors. The PTO was established with the following objectives in mind:
- Enhance cooperation and communication among parents/guardians, faculty, administration, school board members, and the pastor in order to secure for every student the spiritual, physical, emotional, and academic opportunity available at True Cross Catholic School.
- Affirm, promote, and enhance a positive image of True Cross Catholic School within our parish community and the community at large.
As a parent, everyone is a member. If you choose to volunteer your time and resources, you too can be an involved member. We may ask you to select a project to lead or participate as a helper in one of the projects. You may choose to take another approach and remain on our email/call list so that we can contact to see if you are available when we need extra help on a project.Below is a list of projects that PTO has sponsored within the past few years at True Cross Catholic School.Together we are working to build fellowship and memories for our students, families and faculty.Opportunities for involvement include:- Room Mom/ Dad/ Grandparent Coordinators
- Restaurant Nights
- May Crowning Flower Sale (PTO Fundraiser)
- First Sunday
- Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church Fall Bazaar
- Steps for Students
- Teacher Appreciation Celebrations
- Spring Gala
